WESTPORT SCHOOL SQUABBLE.

— [United Phksb Association.] Westport, March 8. The Westport -School Committee did not meet to-night, the meeting lapsing for want of a ' ftubfUfli'. It is alleged this action was taken by some members of the. Committee as a protest against the action of the Education" Board ill only sending one applicant's name for "the principalship of the District High School, aiid to throw the responsibility of making -the appointment of Mir Jiines Hatkhgss 8n the -Education Board, or give the Board the opportunity to reconsider the request of the Westport public, meeting to defer making the appointment until after the annual meeting of householders, and the election of a new committee.
