Mr J. Ramsay Macdonald, M.P., declares "a good elementary education is far more important than a university education to the people of a country. I regret that so much attention is being paid by workers'' organisations to visits to Oxford and Cambridge. Those visits do mpre harm than good. The British workman weary of and disappointed with churches, will seek Christianity in life, will find it, and will treasure it as a precious consolation." .
