FATAL TRAM ACCIDENT.
• 'Wellington, Febi 25. Mr Wakelin, who met with a tram accident last night, died in the hospital this morning. Later. At the inquest to-day on the body of , J.^Wakelin, 'sawmiller, of- Taihape, who:died in .the liospital as the result of, a tram accident. .-the. evidence showed that deceased jumped frpm. the car while it was in motion, and in the opposite direction to that in which the car was running. The inquest is to be resumed' on Saturday. , .
