PENNANT MATCH.

A WIN FOR THE MAITAI. For the first time since the inaugil rat l? n , of Pennant matches betweon ,the Nelson and Maitai Clubs, the lat,ter were successful on Saturday 5 .afternoon, defeating the "senior club in the aggregate on both, greens bv !ff pomte, the totals bein e : Maitai > 189; Nelson 143. On Friday afternoon, on the Nelson green, the. finaL match for the President's pairs was played. Messrs Clutten and Jackson (s) and Cullen and E. H.. Bisley (s) tied for the final and were required to, play the best two out of three rinks to decide the winners. ;The first named pairs succeeded in annexing the two games and are therefore the winners. :
