The batting, the paper considers, is exceptionally strong, but the bowling is weak. Noble is considered an admirable captain. "Sporting Life" says -the : Dowling is doubtful. A. O. Jones, writing.Jin\.the "Daily Mail," is greatly disappointed with the choice of the remaining six, and says i£ is strange that the other selectors have gone against Hill's superior judgment, and says perhaps it is the fact that McAlister" is on the Selection Committee that. led to his selection. The batting is strong, but the bowling is weak. The-redeeming feature of the team is the' fielding.
