UNEMPLOYED IN AUCKLAND.
Auckland, Feb. 19. A meeting of unemployed, which was fairly attended, passed a resolution urging the Government to take steps to prevent agents-, and lecturers at Home advocating New,, Zealand as a place ; for emigrants,! ;and making untruthful representations-,' and asking the Government to provide a more efficient labour bureau in the largo centres, and, if necessary, to' take steps to provide work to absorb the surplus labour.
