"The Times" says that the presence of the King redeemed the opening of the session of Parliament which other wise would have been tame. One purple patch is the disestablishment of Wales. This should not be pressed boyond the second reading, and then be reserved as a missile to fling at the House of Lords in thd succeeding session. Real interest centres in the Budget. The specific recognition of the increased expenditure for the Navy that is necessary is very welcome. ••••■■
