Since last season there has been no marked change in , style ; except as" regards size" and trimming,, or rather lack of trimming as- the hats this season seem to bear as little in the way of extras as^ possible. ' ■[ Extremely large brims and fairly large flat crowns are still the vogue. These are worn without the bandeau, quite flat on the hair and present a Very simple and charming effect. Black Hats trimmed with rather ligHt wreaths of coloured and. white, roses and camelias are very much in avidence. ■'■..'.--. Large toques in tagol or other soft straws have taken the place of small hats. These are all very smartly trimmed with wonderfully shaded wings, quills and ostrich plumes. Some have beautful floral brims, which, are extremely becoming to either young or old. t One of the novel features of the season is .the fur trimmed toque or hat.
