THE INQUEST.

An inquest on the bodies of those recovered from the Penguin wreck was jpened this afternoon by Dr McS.M., Coroner, and a jury of sis;-": The Coroner explained, that it xMsi not '.necessary that they should riew the.bodies. be broping in the dark if it attempted to go on. After the enquiry there would be a better idea as to whose evidence might bo considered necessary for the purposes of the inquest. He therefore proposed an adjournment 'until Wednesday, February 2'lth. This was agreed to by the jury.
