WAIMEA WEST ROAD BOARD.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the the Waimea West Road Board was held on February 9th, all tho members being present. Correspondence was read from Mr C. Tomlinson, asking tbe Board to lower the splash between his and Mr Ford's property; from Mr R. H. Turner, asking the overseer to- meet him and Messrs . Bright and Shirtcliffe on the proposed road through his property. It was resolved that the overseer report on the state of the splash at the next meeting of the Board ; that the overseer and tlie ..daymen meet Messrs Bright, Turner, and Shirtcliff c as requested, and lay out tho road. Mr John Arnold waited on the Board, and stated that a road leading to his property, which he had been using for over thirty years, haa been fenced across by Mr G.M. Hunter.. ' . ,* ■ Resolved — That the secretary write to Mr Hunter and request him. to remove the fence.- .- *' The. overseer wag. instructed to interfere the Goimty Engineer with regard to the:-opening of the road leading to Mr J. W. Satherly's property. Accounts amounting to £11 Is 5d were., pased for payment.
