»t [United Pkess Association.] Christohurch, Feb 6. The Canterbury Jockey Club's summer meeting concluded to-d»yin dull weather, with a fair attendance. The totalsator investments were s £6359 making £11,140 for the meeting, as against £10,897 last year. The bookmakers' fees for the day amounted to £210 10s. Won easily by three lengths, t Lin wood Welter Handicap: Chiar--3 ianian 1, Soniaroff 2, Jessie Lewars ? 3. Also started — Lady Disdain, Eller[J ton, Monkey Puzzle. Won by a ' neck. I Middle Park Plate: Sharpshooter s 1, Broadsword 2, Sweet Angelos 3. j Also started — Caspian and Ormolu. r Sharpshooter and Ormulu werequicka est to move and led into ,the straight, j, At the distance Ormolu was" beaten, and Sharpshooter won by a length from Broadsword, who was a neck in [ front of Sweet Angelus. " St.Alban's Handicap: All Guns I, J Glenculloch 2, Rose Noble 3. Also started— Prim, Petrovna, Probable, , Field Gun, Tikitore, White Cockade. , Nobel, Contender and Prism. All s Guns led practically all the way, and i won easily by three lengths. Selling Race : Ivonoff 1, Sister Ann . 2, Alexis 3. Post Handicap : Field Gun 1, Valdimar 2, Hilanty 3. Also started— Los Angelos, Stronghold^ Harvest, and Tremulous. Won by a bare head.
