Earl Cre«e has instructed' .Sir Gnarle* Lucas, head of the Dominions Department, to make a prolonged visit to Australia and New Zealand Mr Alfred Pearson accompanies him, and they sail on February 26th. ■ "The Times" says the visit is doubtless in response to Mr Deakin's suggestion on tba last day of the Imperial Conference that Sir Charles Lucas's quiet judgment and kindly tact would assure him a ready weclpme.
