ALLEGED THEFTS AT RAILWAY YARDS.
A CASE DISMISSED. [United Pbess Association.] Christchurcb, Feb. 6./ Albert .Hatcher, Walter Inder, arid Lancelot Wilsoa, three young men employed as engine cleaners on the > railway, were to-day, charged. . with ' stealing a case of plums, a quantity of almonds, ''and two" cases of kero-. sene ' from railway waggons in the Obristphurch atatiou yard. After; hearing, tbe evidenee-tbe Magiatrate said tbat if the cbarge bad been of breaking and entering the waggon he wpuld have conviblied, but there was no evidence to show tbat tbe accused had stolen the goods, and he ■dismissed 'the case. .-, ,
