AMUSEMENTS.

THE MALLINSONS. v A reminder, if reminder is needed, is given of the. Malliason song recital to-morrow -evening. The exceptionally heavy booking guarantees a crowded house, and a successful concert, . memorable in every way, can be safely anticipated. It will only be after hearing these talented artists that Nelsonians will realise how singularly fortunate they are in having the Mallinsons here. Early in the coining year Mr and Mrs Mallinson will leave the Dominion for their home .in Denmark, and it is almost impossible that another opportunity will ever be given to us of having the songs of Mr Mallinson interpreted by himself, and his greatly-talented wife. To those who delighted in the concerts of :Mdlle. Tolises and Miss Ada Crossley, the recital should prove especially attractive. Miss Ada Crossley, in conjunction --with Mrs Mallinson, has for some years past "given, series of recitals in England, Germany and ' Denmark, the recitals being recognised as amongst the most perfect and artistic ever given. Of •iho: combined performances of the Mallinsons "Melbourne Punch" says : "In the whole history- of our city we have never experienced a similar event to the one given by these artists, and never one that has been so thoroughly enjoyed." The ''"Wanganui Chronicle" remarks : "Nothing more . delightful has ever been heard' here." The Auckland "Star" says: "We have never heard anything like this before. It is a revelation."
