CHINESE STOWAWAYS.
SMUGGLED INTO AUSTRALIA. [Prj Association — Copybmht.] [ Sydney, Dec. 12. It transpires that communication with the stowaways found under cargo aboard the Eastern bad been established by sawing through the flooring between the Chinese passengers' quarters and the hold, and the opening being carefully concealed. An ffficer passing below noticed a small saw mark, and thus discovered the opening. It is understood that the shippers of the stowaways are Chinese members of tbe crew, who divide £80 for each stowaway landed in Australia. "■"" "',
