The Sometsry of State for the Colonies auut : "Ko doubt much is to be said in favour of tbe Canadian system, under which th.e> Central Government- -appoints .'- -Provincial Governors. If the people of Australia desired a similar system the Imperial Government, in all probability, would be disposed to ad rise the King to meet their wishes "
