THE NELSON SEAT. AN UNCERTAIN POSITION. MR GRAHAM LEADING. The second ballot to decide the representation in Parliament of twenty two electorates in which the leading candidates at tlid flrSt foil failed to secure actual majorities, took, place yesterday, with the results recorded below. ; ■-.-. •-■'. -~; ■-.-■■ Great interest centred in the conicst for the Nelson seat between .Messrs Graham and Atrhore, the position when- the last return for the night arrived being that .Mr Graham was leading by tweiity-Miree votes, jvith two shiall returns and the seaomen's votes , seventeen in number, ;yet to he received.
