LICENSING POLLS.

No license was carried in the Hutt, Wellington South, Wellington. Suburbs, and Masterton electorates. The Taieri electorate lost no license by a few votes, and the Bruce electorate by only one vote. The Buller electorate carried reduction, no license being lost by 258 votes. Reduction was also carried in the Duuedin, Chalmers, Auckland and Parnell electorates. No license was reaffirmou* with substantial majorities in the Chitha, Ashburton, Oamaru, Mataura, and Invercargill electorates. The complete returns are not yet to hand.
