Last evening the P.'litiual Labour LeigUß, wtiose candidate, Mr Koller, was defeated in the first hallot, passed a resolution by 39 vnt»s to 13 expressing tho opinion that in tfe interests of labour tho party would be nest served hy tbe flection of Mr Crugio, the Government candidate, and urging the Labour Party to v 'te in bis favour. A committee was appointed ti aut in conjunction with Mr Uraigie's committee in tho prosecution of the campaign. Mr Koller polled 1275 votas.
