Keceh ed Nov 19, ;9 12 p. m. Melbourne, Nov. 19. : Mr Bent delivered his budget to the House. The 'revenue for the past year was £8.285,508, and the. expenditure £7,848 357. The estimated revenue for toe current year is JE8.U6.256, and the expenditure j68,115 153. He announced that a bold railway and waterworks policy would be followed. Loan Hilla will be brought in -during the session, and early next year to raise the necessary loans. Altogether under credit* Foucier system. £2i 254, 000 bad been advanced, wbereuf arrears amounted to only. £473. The railway revenue was £3,874,000, which wo 3 only once previously exceeded. The imports for the year increased by nearly three millions.
