THE WEST LAND ELECTION.
Holniika, Nov. 19. At an entbusi?stic meeting of Mr H. L. Michel's supporters it was resolved to bold a monster social, and to present-Mr Michel with a purse of s^varaigna and an illuminated address. Over £150 has already been sub-'cribed. The ladies bare resolved to present Mrs Michel with a piece of silver plate. In what was the old Wfstland electorate Mr Michel Had a majority of "2UO votes.
