LICENSING POLLS.

No license was carried in the Hutt, Wellington South, Wellington Suburbs, and Masterton electorates. The Taieri electorate lost no license by a few votes, and the Bruce electorate by only one vote. The Buller electorate carried reduction, no license being lost by 258 votes. Reduction was also carried in the Dunedin, Chalmers, Auckland and Parnell electorates. , _ No license- was reaffirmed with substantial majorities in the Clutha, Ashburton, Oamaru, Mataura, and v Invercargill electorates. The complete returns are not-yet to' hand.
