NO LICENSE DEMONSTRATIONS.

Tne aiatit was a remarkable one, and was a manifestation of the intense interest which the liquor question has on this occasion aroused in Auckland. There was a procession from tbe Basin Reserve to tha Park, those takingpart, comprising syru path i lers of all kinds.. The .procession was al.oiit half a mile long. Wanganui, Nov. 14. A great demonstration in. favour of no-license was held in the Queen's' Park this afterconn. The liquor patty had engaged tbe Opera Uoii3e and "the Druids' Hal!, though using neither, so that their opponents bad to take recourse to the open air. This proved a good thing, as the crowd could not have been accommodated in either, or bpfch of the halls. ." ■
