Keoeived Nov. 15, 4.30 p.m. Calcutta, Nov. 14. The authorities handed Kunai r s body to his relitives, riot suspect-, ing what was about to o6cur. When - out of sigbt cf the place of execu tion, a Brahma blessed the body. vita neck was garlanded, and the bier was smothered in flowers. The ladies of every household on the route loudly demanded to see the 'dead, hence, contrary to Hindu custom, the face was uncovered. The procession halted at almost every thitd novae to allow toe body to be viewed. A large percentage ol tbe mourners belopged to respectable Calcutta families. V \ ■ • Rife and paddy was strewn along the route. Several Bengalis are projecting the erection at Chandermagore of a block of marble over the ashes, inscribed, "tie died for his country."
