A number of patients have been under treat-: ment at Kaliht for about a year, and one patient bas been recommended to the Board of -Health for re-examl-ination'.:- 1 " The physicians state in their report: "Whilst not convihctd bevond the possibility of doubt that the patient is absolutely free from leprosy, we do feel: he has made such marked improvement that the request iforJre-exaniinatiori is warranted." The board has adopted tbe recommendation, and if the presarice: of the bacillus of leprosy is not found in the man's system, he will be discharged.
