AN EXPERIMENT. The tragic 'death. of Professor Churon Collins, recalls that he, along vifcli other members of the Ghost Jlub, had entered into a solemn com>act to appear, if possible, to the ;urviving members after death. iVhon the English mail left, a meetng was to be held by the club, and m attempt will be made through a nodium to communicate with>the late Professor. "The fact," said a scientist, "that Professor Collins entered into-a compact to attempt to reappear after death lends an element of definiteness to tiie test that it would not. otherwise have, as there are many scientists who believe that such expsriments fail because of lack of sympathy on the part of the deceased."
