' Mr Jenkins, late Agent-General for -South Australia, was entertained at a complimentary dinner. Mr Reeves and other Agents-General were prosent, and Lord Jersey presided. The hair man presented to : Mr -Jenkins a .■watch, arid jewellery subscribed forby his friends. In repyling Mr Jenkins advocated- a strong Commonwealth immigration policy.
