COMIC OPERA.

The London Operascope Company will appear in .the Theatre Royal on Wednesday . and Tbur.sday next week. Gilbert arid Sullivan's famous comic opera "The Mikadb;" will be shown in living natural colours, with all its love scenes, gorgeous costumes, and mechanical scenic effects, with singing records.

The latest marvel in the hiograph world will also be introduced — a series of living pictures, that, laugh and sing, by the --' greatest of the world's artists.. The invention is called "The Miracle of Life,- Voice and motion.. Besides these. great attractions, . the . latest gems in photography will be-' '.shown.;- embracing travel, drama, sport, comedy, and illusion. . . . • -

The management have secured Dr. Rowe, the ,world-fan;ad American magician and illusionist, whose remarkable performance stands alone for, genuine magic, mirth, and mystery. Also, Miss Vera Hamilton, the queen of song and picture melody. Also, Nandine, the White Mahatma, whose sensational and bewildering seance is aptly called the "Physic marvel of the Century."

The season is limited to. two nights and a matinee on Thursday at 3.30.
