WILFULLY SHOOTING AT HORSES.
Timaru, June 2. At the Supreme Court fto-day, D. Sargent, a farmer, pleaded guilty to a charge of wilfully shooting at horses. He was admitted to twelve months' probation, and was ordered to pay forty pounds for a pony which had been killed, and ten guineas for he cost of the prosecution,
