Greymouth, April 14. Tom Davis, a carpenter, was killed td-uay by a beam falling on him at He raihvay goods shed. A CHILD DROWNED. N,apier, April H, A child nanqed Neil Bottesen,el3ven months' old, was drowned in a tub of blue water on McGlasaan's station, at L Ngatapa, abont 125 miles from Upper Mohaka. The mother was doing the washing. and the little boy was playing near at hand. Her attention was drawn from him for some little time, and. on looking ro'jndfshe saw him in the tub.
