The Seamen's Union baa agr'edd to coastal shipowners having a month to arrange for non-union crews being brought together in six steamers. Meantime unionists and non-unionists will work together on the vessels. Another labor trouble has cropped up at Newoastle, where 33 out of 38 non-unionists employed on the Newcastle and Hunter River Steamship Company's boats have struck on,the ■ ground that under the new agree* ment they should be paid casual 1 wages instead of weekly wages. 1 Eleven hands returned to work, and the places of the otheis were filled by unionists.
