FIGHTING IN MOROCCO.
Received Feb 4, 1.42 p. 10. Morocco^ February 4. % General Damade, reports that Colonel Uontegourd fought a brilliant engagement at x Mzumbas against trib.es cf the Shawis hinterland. The column for a time was surrounded, but after vigorous light ing for two hours the Moors were defeated with very heavy Josses. Eight French were" killed * and fifty wounded, including several ofneers.
