A SUSPENDED SITTING. Received December^, 9.P.0 p.m. Bombay, December 27. ' Seven thousand were present at the opening of the Indian Naional Congress at Surat, including 2000 delegates. Extremists interiupted speakers who were counselling moderation in local matters, and tre mendous uproar followed the nomination of Arabinda Gho6e B 3 President, chiefly on the part of Bangalese. Ultimately tho sitting was suspended.
