The annual general meeting of the Nelson Cricket Association was held at the Commercial Hotel on Saturday evening> .Present : Mr H. Bai? gent (President), iri the chair, Messrs Hall (Brightwater), Hoult (Wakefield), Richmond, Franklyn, Liviok ("Slauh), Bensemann, Smith (Kamura), Hesseltine (Athletic), Kinzett (United), Norgate (Stoke), and the Hon. Seoretary (Mr E. R. Neale). Apologies were read from other members unable to attend owing to illness. . ■ . The Secretary's report, and balance Bheet gwei'e read and adopted, the President complimenting the Secretary on his able report. The election of officers resulted as follows: — Patron, Mr John Graham (re-elected); President, Mr Henry Baigent (re-elected); Vice-Presi-dents, Dr. W. R. Pearless, Messrs H. L. Fowler, F. H. Richmond, and P. Toplias (re-elected), and Messrs W. Wilkens, W. S. Hampson, W. Lock, Drs. W. H. Pearless and R. J. Orford ( newly )? Hon. Secretary and Treasurer, Mr E. R. Neale (re-elected); Hon. Auditor, Mr W. D. Chisholm (re-elected): Delegate to N.Z.0.0., Mr S. W. ' Thornton (re-elected).

A suggestion to play separate rounds in country and town* the winners of eaoh to play off, was not received favorably) and was left over till next Saturday evening, by -which time all entries for pup competitions mu9t be in the hands of the Secretary.

It was resolved, "on the motion of the Secretary, that the Ohriatchurch method of counting championship pointsjbe adopted, viz. : Allot two half-days or one whole day for a tnach. If finished within allotted tims, winsers to oount three points. If unfinished, the winners on the first innings to count one point.

The olub secretaries were instructed to supply the Association with lists of names of all unpaid members.

Resolved that a Senior representative team visit Motueka on 9th November, if arrangements can be made.

It was decided to make a small charge to Oup matches this season. Jnnior subscription was raised to 15s, senior to remain, as at present. - After a hearty vote of thanks to President and Secretary, the meeting was adjourned till next Saturday, 24th August, by which date secretaries must send in the entries for competitions.
