NELSON CRICKET CLUB.

The- annual meeting of members at the Nelson Cricket Club waa held it Mercer's Booms last evening, Mr F. H. Several new members were then elected. Officers were elected as follow! :— President, Mr P. H. Richmond (reelected); Vice- Presidents, Messrs 0. Broad, C. Unggitl, H. L. Fowler, and E. . Trask . (re-elected)* S. T> Richmond; CJub, -iG'agtain',- M* Gordon Richmond; Hoii» Secretary and Treasurer, Mr E. Livick; Committee, Messrs Richmond, Louisson and Cunningham ; Custodian, Mr S. Cunningham; delegates to Associa-, tion,Mr Franklyn arid the Secretary. The following list of highest averages was presented : — Seniors : Batting, T. Loujsson, 28.5 runs per innings; E. Liviok, 12.1; G. Richmond, 12.1. Bowling, G. Richmond, 21 wickets at 7.3 ritns per wicket; T. Louissonj;lß wiCkes a.t 9.4, runs «ef wicket. Junior; batting, A. MiHdr 13.7 runs per innings. Bowling, A. Cooke, 7 runs per wicket. | The subscription was tixed at £1, and it was decided to enter a team for the Senior Championship, If; was also resolved to-open the season with a match against Richmond, at Richmond, on the, third Saturday in September, if arrangements can be made. \ The President's trophies were then presented as" follow^:— Senior ba.tf ting, T. Louisson; Junior batting, A. Miller. Mr Richmond again offered trophies for the best Senior batting and bowling averages, and' was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. A vote of thanks to the Chairman then terminated the meeting.
