THE NIGHT-CAPS MINE DISASTER.

Dunedin, August 16. The' 'Daily Times" learns that the Royal Commission concerning the Nightcaps disaster in June last, will commence its sitting on the 29th inst. Three writs for damages, claiming a total of £5000, have been issued against the company on bebalf of the relatives of the victims. In the case of Carson £2000 is claimed, in that of Duncan £2000, and in that of Walsh £100. The cases will be heard at Invercargill.
