CHRISTIANS' MEETING HOUSE.

Last night the above-named building was crowded, when a most enjoyable concert. was given; Mr J. J. Franklyn presided.* 1 - Me stated h© was pleased to see so many persona present. Their young people had organised the entertainment for the benefit of the fund for building a new chapel. The present building was not sufficiently large for their requirements. Miss Page recited reinarkaby well, and the delighted audience insisted on her reappearance. The round given by Messrs Lang, Jackson, and Page created some merriment, and the item had to be repeated. The glee "Those Chiming Bells" was splon didly rendered. The young lady who sang "Tired, M possesses a good, voice, and will be heard of in the future. Miss Coombes was very successful with her solo, and Mrs Derrick deserves special mention for both her playing and singing. The next concert will be looked for with pleasurable anticipation.
