VOLCANIC DISTURBANCES.
Sydney, July 23. The Navua, from the Islands, < reports that the recent volcanic disturbances havo been located southwest of the island in the sea some < m iles from the shore . ' The Premier of Tonga visited the ] spot, lie states that there appears ( to be vents not far from eaoh other. < There was a rushing booming sound, ' and a column of smoke and steam i was thrown into the air with tremendous noise.
