TARIFF ON ELECTRICAL MACINERY
JJunedm, July 21. In reply to a telegram sent by the electrical firms in Dunedin protesting against the proposed tariff ratas on electrical machinery and appliances, the Hon. J. A. Millar states, — ''Electrical machinery is being put on the same basis as steam machiney with which it enters into competition, and the revenue is required."
