TADMOR.

To The Editor. Sir, — You will no doubt have heard of the dangerous road in the Tadmor Valley caussd by the Public Works Department making the railway line on the public road 5 and making the road too narrow in many places for two traps to pass. The public opinion is that the Waimea Couoty Council is at fault for allowing this to be done. Now there is something |more dangerous than ever being done. The Public Works Department is putting up cage gates in front of the houses oi settlers, who have to cross the railway line to get on the road. The posts of these gates are being put from two to three feet out in the road m the very wheel marks of traps running on the road. I think it is time this sort of going on was put a stop to. Trusting the County Council, or who has the power to stop it, will do so before some Beriou3 accident happens. Yours, etc., TRAVELLER.
