PARLMERSTON NORTH WINTER SHOW.

P_ilmerston North, June 21. The Winter Show was brought to ? close to-day. .Throughout, the Show has been largely attended, and today was no exception to the rule. Visitors from all over the Colonj spoke in glowing- terms of the vasl advncement made by the Associatior during the four years of its exis tence. A lecture was given to-daj on preserving fruit by Mr Jaques,th( canning expert, and was largelj attended. The greatest interest was taken throughout in the Departmenl oi Agriculture exhibits. and officers of the department were busj throughout showing and explaining many points of interest. Tbe farmers are unanimous that such exhibit, opon up new life in the Shows, and the departments exhibits will be looked forward to with the greatest interest in future Shoj-S.
