NELSON RUGBY UNION.

A meeting of the Management Committee was hold at Stallard's Rooms last evening. Present: Dr Andrew (Chairman), Messrs W. E. Simtb, H. Nalder, G. Shrimpton, F. McCabe, K. Smith, Cannington, G. Fairey, J. Richards, H. Hall (secretary), and F. P. Kitching (assistant secretary). Minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. Mr G. Batchelor wrote, reporting a player for striking an opponent in the Rival-Nelson match. — Resolved that the player be disqualified for one playing Saturday. Mr Fowler wrote, asking for a reduction in the price of admission to College Boys. — Resolved that season tickets be issued to all school boys under the age of 16 on the production of a not 9 from the headmaster of school, price of same to be one shilling, and to bo availabJe for the rest of season. A letter was received from the headmaster, Richmond School, stating that the date of match Richmond v. Colelge B be altered, as the present date was unsuitable.— Left iv the hands of the Fixture Committee. Resolved to write to the Golden Bay Rugby Union, asking them to define thoir boundary. The reinstatement of Cross, of the Rival Club, from Junior to Second Junior was granted. The following additions < were made to the classification list : — Rival: Senior, 3. D. Christie, College: 4th Class, Scantlebury, Chapmnn, McCabe, Cutfiold, Bennett, Newton. , A vote of thanks to the chairman terminated the meeting. The following referees were appointed for Saturday next:— Senior: Albion v. Rival, Park 1, Mr G. Glover. Junior: College v. Albion, Park 2, Mr C. JBatcnelor. Second Junior: College v. Waimea, Richmond, Mr H. Nalder. Third Class: Huia v.' College, Park, 2 p.m., Mr Millar.
