SIX-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT. Tlie < six-a-side tournament was played yesterday (June 3) before a great cro-vd of spectators. The weather and ground were all tbat could be desired. Motueka B and Nelson C started first, the former winning by one goal to nil, soored by Staples. The second match Federal B v. Maitai B was won by the latter; Karsten shooting tbe goal. Nelson A beat Nelson Bin' the third match by 3 goals. Anstice (2) and Hursfe (1) being the scorers. The next match was a good game between Motueka A and Maitai A, the latter winning by one goal, shot by Millar. Richmond v. Federal was a splendid game, lasting about 40 minutes, when Dee, for Federals, drove home a good poal. " The first semi-final was between Motueka B and Nelson A, and resulted i J a win for Nelson by one goal, Hurst being the soorer. Maitai A v. Maitai B was a good game to watch but the A's proved victorious by one goal. Ferry scorer.
