Palmerston North, June 18. At the annual meeting of the National Dairy Association held today, it wns shown that the turnover for the year had been of tbe value of £56,000, with'£2lG 8s 4cl profit. In his address, the Chairman said the executive Held tbe opiuion that the action of the recently formed Dairy .Employees Industrial Union would result in injury to the factory in dustry. A resolution ' was passed urging upon the Government the advisability of again putting Mr Kirk's collection, known as the Government "Agricultural Museum, again on exhibit. It was also resolved to ask the Government to appoint a dairy expert to examine and report upon the state of ; butter and cheese on the arrival in England, f Also a resolution asking the Government to appoint inspectors of the milk supplies to factories was passed.
