EARTHQUAKE.
Dunedin, June 18. Two severe shocks of earthquake •were felt about $.30 p.m., but no damage is reported. Gore, Juno 18. A pronounced shock of earthquake was felt in Gore to-night at 8.30. *The taller brick buildings , in the town'creaked rather mino usly during the shake, which lasted several [seconds. The movement appeared to be from west to east. Invercargill, June 18. ' A alight earthquake, preceded by a i rambling noise, was felt here at 8.30.
