A nuuiber of wreaths were placed on Mr Seddons grave to-day, includ ing those sent by the Westland Memorial Committee, the West Coaster Association, and the "Wellington Memorial Committee. Yesterday members of the Cabinet visited the burial place, and put a wreath on the grave. At the end of the financial year the Police Provideut Fund stood at J329,026. The creation of the fund has saved the State .£17,159, that being the amount which the Government would havo had to lind for Police retiring allowances.
