TO-DAY'S FIXTURES. At Wakefield, the Farmers' Field Day, under the auspices of the Wakefied Branch of the Farmers' Union* At ..Botanical Reserve this forenoon, commencing at 9.30, six-a-side hockey tournment, for which six teams have entered. At Trafalgar Park this afternoon, the Rugby Union's seven-a-side competitions for the Littlejohn (Senior) and Ripper (2nd Junior) Shields. There will be twelve matches, the first commencing at 1.30 p.m. sharp. This evening at the Commercial Hotel, Mr H. W. Stevenson, champion billiard pliyar of the world, will concede 700 points in 1000 up to a well-known local player.
