SHOOTING.
INELSON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB The competitions held on List Saturday and. Wednesday afternoons were for Mr A. T. Maginnity,s trophy for "A " Class, and Mr A. "W. Bradley's trophy for '-B" Class. The leg-in for the former was secured by Rifleman Bradley, who scored consistently at both ranges *, and Rifleman Storey secured pride of place in the " B " Class, and this being his second win, the trophy now becomes his property. The ranges were 800 and 900 yards, 7 shots, 1 optional sighter. The following are the principal scores :— " A " Class, 800 900 Hp Tl W. Bradley .. .. 28 29 5 64 R. Catley.. .. .. 32 29 — 61 R. Tlie next competition will be for Messrs Hogg & Co's trophy, ranges 500 and 600 yards, 7 shots. All competitions that nave boen held this month, and until the Club's representatives return from the Trentham meefing, will not count for the championship aggregates, for which Mr C. Y. Fell has donated a gold medal for the "A " Class, and Mr W. A, Harris (Singer Machine Company) a gold medal yfor the "B'' Class.
