Death of an Old Citizen. — Very many of our] readers will learn with sorrow this morning of the death of Mr Ambrose ;E Moore, who had residod in Nelson for a great many years, and enjoyed the confidence and esteem of a very large circlß. lid was a great lover of music, and at one time wasua useful member of the Harmonic Society, both as a vocalist and instrumentalist, and then he became the conductor of tho Society. Mr Moore also held the post of organist at- the Cathedral Church.' In business he occupied several responsible positions including. those of Returning Officer to the City Council, aa auditor to the College Governors, and others. A comparatively short time has elapsed since, he was first missed from his usual haunts, n,nd now the end has come very widespread sympathy will be j felt with Mrs Moore and the family.
