By Telegraph— Special Service. Christchurch, Feb 14 There was a large attendance at the Exhibition to-day, the Band Contest Droving once again a strong attraction. Mr W H Monk, of Sydney, played an organ accompaniment to the violin solo of his brother at the well attended Orchestral concert in the afternoon, and several organ solos at tbe concert in tbe evening, which appealed strongly to the large audience. |

The presentation was accompanied ■by a congratulatory speech. The ceremony ' was not a public one. The Westland School Cadets, numbering 244 boys, with nineteen officers, arrived at the Exhibition today, and went into camp for the usual week's training.
